Greetings!

The energy of February finds the Sun in air sign Aquarius until 2/18 when the sun enters the deep waters of Pisces which take us into the dream time, as well as offering us unlimited opportunity for breakthroughs. The energy flow for February began with the New Moon in Aquarius on 1/29; which coincides with the Chinese New Year and celebrates the Yin Year of the Wood Snake. The Wood Snake repeats every 60 years, symbolizing flexibility, shedding what is outgrown, and getting in touch with deeper truths, and marking 2025 as a year of inner growth. The following day, 1/30/25, the planet Uranus, which rules Aquarius, moved back into action after stagnating retrograde in Taurus since 9/1/2024. For the next few months, we are urged to “think out of the box” and expect unexpected change. As of 2/4, all of the planets are in direct motion except Mars, which will be in direct motion on 2/24. Additionally, six planets are visible in the night sky during January and February creating a rare planetary parade as Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune line up on the same side of the Sun.

TRANSITS OF PLANETARY MOVEMENT IN FEBRUARY 2025:

FEBRUARY 1: VENUS AND NEPTUNE ENTWINE

Venus and Neptune cast a beautiful glow over the first days of February. Venus represents love and attachment, and Neptune is the planet that allows us to dream, create, and deepen our intuition. The positive feelings are overwhelming, and imagination is unlimited during this pattern. On 2/3, Mercury and Jupiter form a strong triangle in air signs Aquarius and Gemini, bringing expansive mental energy which is helpful for planning and developing strategies that create freedom and awareness. This is a great day to solve problems and plan ahead.

FEBRUARY 4: VENUS MOVES INTO ARIES JUPITER GOES DIRECT

A sudden shift occurs when Venus moves into Aries which ends the dream time until Venus returns to Pisces from 3/29 – 4/30. While Venus is visiting Aries 2/4/25 – 3/27/25 and again 5/1/25 – 6/6/25 we will have a strong desire to be more assertive, courageous and passionate. We will be in pursuit of our heart’s desires as the energy of love and attachment makes relationships heat up, allowing us to know what we truly want. Also on 2/4, generous Jupiter moves forward in air sign Gemini unlocking breakthroughs in communication and desire to learn, as well as greater clarity. This is a great time to solve problems and have heart-to-heart conversations with those who are on your frequency. FEBRUARY 9-12: MERCURY JOINS SUN When the Sun and Mercury dance together in air sign Aquarius, the nervous energy we can feel sends sudden shocks through our bodies. Since the planet Uranus is forming a square to these two planets, there may be sudden realizations and changes in perspective. In addition, Mars and Saturn form a helpful triangle which stabilizes our growth.

FEBRUARY 13: FULL MOON IN LEO

The Full Moon in Leo amplifies drama and social situations. There will be unresolved tensions that come to awareness since Uranus is part of this pattern. Emotions run high, urging us to be bold and express our needs. This is an intense pattern which will enlighten us whether we seek it or not. FEBRUARY 18: SUN MOVES INTO PISCES After the intense energy of early February, the Sun in Pisces helps us release anxiety and relax as the desire for peace is in the air. The Sun in watery Pisces softens our triggers and opens our hearts. The energy of Pisces opens our intuition, creativity, empathy and tenderness. It is a perfect time to take care of our own needs. This is a time for inner work and external pressures.

FEBRUARY 20-25, 2025: ASTROLOGICAL TRENDS AT MONTH’S END

Mercury and Jupiter expand our awareness as Mars finally moves forward on 2/23 in water sign Cancer, breaking the cycle of stagnation. Our energy drive returns along with a renewed sense of purpose as momentum builds. On 2/25 mental Mercury joins Saturn in Pisces. This combination brings a serious sober tone into the mix. This pattern increases our maturity, stability desire for truth, responsibility and facing the consequences of long avoided decisions.

FEBRUARY 27 NEW MOON IN PISCES

The Sun and Moon in Pisces occurs at the end of the Zodiac and is ruled by Neptune, the planet of intuition, creativity, sensation and dreaming. Emotions are magnified, especially memories of the past and dreams of the future. Time to become aware of unresolved desires or unfinished business. It is time to surrender and let go of what no longer serves us. It is time to make room for what is still forming. As you can see February is a basket of the unexpected events, many more than we can imagine.
