With 4 outer planets (Uranus, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto) changing signs in the first 6
months of 2025, we are all moving through patterns we have never experienced before. The
ground between our feet is shifting, impacting unexpected life changes. That is why the
weather is so unpredictable, since the planets aƯect weather. August begins with Mercury
retrograde in Leo joining the Sun in Leo, opposite Pluto, the great transformer. It is time to
surrender and find the current that will take you to a new version of yourself and your
purpose. We are beginning a new era of opportunity and accepting the changes in our lives,
as we develop into the next version of ourselves.

ASTROLOGICAL TRENDS IN AUGUST:

MARS ENTERS LIBRA FROM AUGUST 6-9/22/25

Militant Mars is happiest while he is living in his home in Aries; he is the warrior of the
Zodiac. When Mars visits Libra, he has to develop a diƯerent strategy: bring out a velvet glove
to hide your aggravation. It is time to use smooth charm and leave the conflict energy for
another day. It is time to dance, not box, when you are with others. The strong energy of Mars
in cardinal sign Libra inspires compassion, peace and meaningful relationships. The other
air planets, Pluto and Uranus, create a strong triangle which opens the door to releasing the
challenges of the past 6 months. It is time to elevate ourselves to a higher frequency of calm
and peace and find your inner diplomat, mediator or peacemaker.

AUGUST 8: LIONS GATE PORTAL;

VENUS AND URANUS OFFER NEW RELATIONSHIP
OPTIONS:

The Lions gate portal opens on August 8, delivering high frequency energy to our brains and
consciousness. New ideas appear, our consciousness and intuition are enhanced, as
Sirius, the spiritual Sun (one of the brightest stars in the sky) brings us advanced wisdom. In
ancient Egypt this energy pattern was a gift of water from the Nile to the earth, creating a
successful harvest. In modern times Sirius is associated with freedom and advanced
technology. The planet of love, Venus, now in air sign Libra, forms a triangle with Uranus in
Gemini, bringing new relationships with creative outlets. This pattern of air energy creates
an intellectual flow making it easier to move into a new paradigm.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS (8/9/25)

The Full Moon in Aquarius, opposite the Sun in Leo, creates an interesting opposition. The
Sun in Leo is interested in his needs and the Moon in Aquarius is focused on the needs of
the collective. There is a rare pattern called a Grand Kite operating at the Full Moon, with
Mars opposite Saturn and Neptune. For some of us we may feel fatigue, confusion or fear
of failure. Now is the time for detachment and to think outside the box and ask ourselves
“how can I apply my talents to be of benefit to the world”. During this period Mars in
Libra opposes Saturn and Neptune, both in Aries, bringing us aggravation and challenge as
we push/pull and find peace.

MERCURY MOVES FORWARD ON AUGUST 11:

The time for waiting to make new plans and purchases is beginning today. Mercury will be
in his shadow pattern until August 24, and then life moves forward with gusto. Move slowly
from August 11-24 for best results.

AUGUST 12: VENUS AND JUPITER SHARE THEIR LOVE AND GROWTH

This is a very auspicious day for relationships and friendships, as well as improving your
relationship with money. Once every 12 years Venus and Jupiter give us a boost of joyful
energy. Both Venus and Jupiter are joyful, expansive energy for all who need a sign that things
are moving forward. We may have better relationships with family and intimate connections,
as well as increased possibility for forgiveness and resolution. Emotional generosity flows
more freely now, making it easier to give and receive love and closeness.

SUN IN VIRGO ON AUGUST 22:

As we move from fire to earthy Virgo, it is time to realign our plans, restore our nervous
systems, clear the clutter out of our minds and move forward with new structures and
meaningful work. The dramatic rollercoaster of August is moving us in a new direction with
greater purpose. It is time to review your goals and what your strategies for success need to
be. With Uranus activating the Sun in Virgo, restless energy is waiting for us to direct
ourselves with greater discernment. The energy of Uranus in mental Gemini, allows us to
forget about excuses, and remove choice, the secret sauce of success.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO; YOD SQUARE TO URANUS IN GEMINI: AUGUST 23

The New Moon in Virgo coincides with a rare yod square with Uranus. What does that
mean? It means we are at a crossroad that requires clarity of consciousness as there is an
unusual amount of restlessness with this combination. It is time to be grounded in your
body, exercising, resting and eating healthy food. All New Moons provide opportunities for
change and this New Moon in Virgo is urging us to take exquisite care of ourselves. From
August 23 – 24 it is time to look at your boundaries. This has been a contradictory month. It
is time to transform old structures and open to new ones that will lead you to long-term
projects.

VENUS ENTERS LEO AND IS SUPPORTED BY SATURN IN ARIES ON AUGUST 25

Venus enters joyful, social Leo from August 2 – September 19, bringing greater stability in
relationships. New projects are on the horizon, as well as greater self-expression, selfacceptance and openness to enjoying the company of others. Creativity is expanding our
opportunities for growth and greater joyfulness. Powerful dreams are waiting for us to wake
up, as well as having lightning in a bottle as we move toward becoming a peaceful warrior. It
is time to imagine your future as you chart your progress: new opportunities are
unlimited. When planets are in earth and fire, it is like a steam roller to success!
