Greetings:

If you felt stuck in the past few months, April will change your life dramatically.  With no retrograde planets (the only time in 2026), we get back on track with planets in fiery Aries, the sign of push, a high energy period of bold, direct action leading to significant transformation.  There has been no time in recent history when so many planets occupied Aries at one time.  Prepare for a new beginning like the Big Bang or the return to the Moon that is occurring in April.  Humanity is in the midst of the most significant metamorphosis since the Neolithic Revolution.  As a long Pisces chapter closes, the fog lifts and the world comes into focus.  On April 14 the last planet in Pisces in 2026 moves into Aries (Mercury).

APRIL 2026 TRANSITS:

On April 1 a Full Moon in Libra forms a square with Jupiter in water sign Cancer.  With the Sun in Aries, we desire to become an individual, free to explore and express ourselves.  The Moon in Libra represents our need for balance and connection with others.  Aries is ruled by Mars and Libra is ruled by Libra.  With the expansive planet Jupiter in the mix, emotions may expand our need to examine our feelings and needs.  With the Moon in Libra, we are focusing on the art of relationships as we reconcile our needs and desires with others.   With three cardinal planets (Sun, Moon and Jupiter) connecting, the energy of courage and assertiveness expands our possibilities.  It is interesting to me that the synchronicity of the date of the Full Moon occurs as Nasa has a fabulous start to the Moon for the first time in 50 years.  The Libra Full Moon sets the tone for the entire month, especially since the Sun squares Jupiter on April 5 and there will be a restless Mars-Uranus on April 8, followed by Mars entering Aries from April 9 – May 18.

Mars enters Aries (4/9-5/18)

Mars returns to his home sign on April 9, igniting urgency, courage, boldness and fire.  When Mars conjuncts Neptune on April 12 and   our desires merge with our dreams, and sometimes our illusions, we are preparing to release the pain of the past.  When Mars meets Saturn on April 19, there may be friction between discipline and impulsivity.  Saturn is not comfortable with the strong energy of Aries and needs to work on not fighting tension so we can help ourselves refine our direction.  With Mars moving from the Sun, Neptune and Saturn our momentum builds considerably.

Mercury enters Aries on April 14:

With Mercury no longer swimming in Pisces (2/6 – 4/13) creative fires allow us to seize brilliant inspirations.  After a long and foggy period in Pisces, clarity sharpens quickly.  On April 19 Mercury joins Mars and Saturn in a rare triple conjunction in Aries.  During this time, we realize truth can no longer be ignored.  Whatever emerges at this time demands action on our part.

New Moon in Aries on April 17:

With the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn and Neptune all in Aries, the passion and determination of 6 planets in Aries is overwhelming.

The gift of this powerful energy brings integration, honesty and courage.  Time to go for it, bold actions will bring enlightenment to your plans. 

Sun Enters Taurus After Mars-Saturn Conjunction (4/19)

After the volatility of the Mars-Saturn conjunction, with overwhelming intensity, the Sun in earthy Taurus (ruled by Venus) invites us to slow down, look and enjoy creature comforts and make time for the sensual aspects of life.  The Sun and Venus in Taurus brings us a grounding influence.  With Venus, the first planet to move into Taurus (3/30 – 4/23) after the fiery energy of Aries and the yes-no dilemmas we are attempting to resolve, it is a blessing to slow down and enjoy our lives and take a break from determination and pushing forward.  Time for loud action and too much drive to slow down.

Venus Joins Uranus and Uranus returns to Gemini:

On April 23 Venus meets Uranus at the final degree of Taurus and may bring us sudden change or revelation.  We are all reaching a point of no return around values, money, resources and relationships, all of the which are Venusian and Tauren issues.  This is a powerful change in energy since the last 7 years has been brutal for all of us.  When Uranus re-enters Gemini on April 25, we will begin a seven-year cycle of surprise and change, a cycle of the future that will change our lives forever.  Uranus has not been consistently in Gemini for 84 years, so nothing we can imagine will occur.  Uranus is a trickster and always surprises us, bringing  a different reality that moves fast, thinks differently  and opens unexpected pathways for  us to experience without turning back.  On April 25 the Sun in Taurus is square Uranus in Aquarius, a real tug of war since the hidden shadows Pluto brings struggle with discouragement and cleaning up our messes.  It is time to explore our options without losing ourselves into the depth of the unknown.  The last days of April continue the whirlwind of change as the planets bring moments of optimism and excitement and a brighter future.
