Greetings:
LIBRA NEW MOON OCTOBER 21:
MARS IN SCORPIO WITH MERCURY:
As October arrives and we have survived the powerful eclipses of September, we will
have a Hunter’s Full Moon on October 6 which will lessen the unlimited upheaval,
chaos and uncertainty the energy of the eclipse portal stirred up for all of us. The
Hunter’s Moon is a supermoon, the first of 3 that are closest to the earth. October
begins with all the slower moving outer planets in retrograde motion, pulling us back into
our recent past, feeling like a strong tidal undertow of déjà vu. Aries is a cardinal fire
sign and with the Aries Full Moon opposing the Libra Sun: Aries isolates while Libra
entangles. The key to this Full Moon is balance between remaining self-sufficient and
giving and receiving love and care at the same time. We may need to draw new
boundaries to accomplish this task.
I am sure we are all aware that we are in a period that has never been so challenging.
Three outer planets (Pluto, Neptune and Uranus) have descended upon Earth together
for the first time ever. Our nervous systems are frayed, we are all in shock, which
means we are in a mood for flight, fear, fight and shell shock. Beginning on November
19, 2024, Pluto moved into Aquarius, which issued in a new period of transformation for
the first time in 250 years (American Revolution). On March 30, 2025, Neptune entered
aggressive fire sign Aries for the first time in 165 years (Civil War) and finally on July 7,
2025, Uranus entered Gemini for the first time in 84 years (WW II). Since the planets
send energy to us personally and collectively, we have no experience with the
energy we are experiencing, and it is tempting to do nothing because we are all
so confused. This combination of planets also affects the weather and the year 2025
has been torture all over the cosmos. We all need some rescue remedy to improve the
power of our minds which creates our reality: whatever you visualize in great detail will
become your reality. What we speak about and dream about, we can bring into reality.
We create with our heart and build with our minds, says philosopher Cris James. For
those who are struggling through this once in a life period, it is time to focus on a new
reality: we can imagine that everything that happens this year is a gift of growth and
helping us to become the person we were meant to be.
OCTOBER 2025 ASTROLOGICAL PATTERNS:
OCTOBER OPENS THE MONTH WITH NEW BEGINNINGS:
On October 1, Pluto, soon to move forward on October 13 is at 1 degree of Aquarius
and will remain there all month, bringing greater stability. In addition, Mercury in air sign
Libra is expanded by a strong square to Jupiter in watery Cancer. Since both of these
planets are cardinal, this combination is full of energy and opportunity.
ARIES FULL MOON: OCTOBER 6
VENUS IS ACTIVE FROM 10/11-10/13
On October 11 Venus ends her time in Virgo as she opposes the waters of Pisces for
the last time in this century. For those who are dreamers, it may be time to visit earth
and become more realistic. With support from Jupiter in Cancer, the reality won’t be
hard to take in. It is time to take a look to evaluate our relationships to see if they are
still valuable. On October 13 Venus enters the diplomatic territory of Libra, activating a
rare Grand Kite pattern with Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, all in air signs. This is a time
for renewal with others, as this powerful configuration offers us the opportunity to
establish connection with others that feels balanced and fresh. Forgiveness, harmony
and peace, are activated with this combination, offering us beauty and grace in spite
this period of upheaval.
PLUTO MOVES FORWARD IN AQUARIUS:
On October 13 powerful Pluto becomes the only outer planet moving forward. Pluto
symbolizes renewal and power that returns annually with the transformation of the
Phoenix Bird as it is regenerated. This year Pluto is in triangle to Venus and Uranus,
bringing visions of change. Buried agendas may emerge as transformation occurs. It is
time for endings and new beginnings as Pluto squares off with Mercury and the Sun
October 7 and October 24, respectively.
MARS IN SCORPIO WITH MERCURY:
Mars entered Scorpio on September 22 and remains in Scorpio until November 4.
While in Scorpio Mars joins Mercury on October 20, intensifying our feeling function
and bringing out our secrets and clarity with our thoughts. Mars in Scorpio is a
passionate energy combination so be prepared to hear the truth with those who are
close to you. It is impossible for them to suppress their feelings with this combination.
LIBRA NEW MOON OCTOBER 21
The New Moon in Libra is the final pattern that arrived with the eclipses in September.
Relationships are being evaluated so change can occur as necessary. Jupiter and
Neptune join the New Moon and test commitments and demand clarity. It is a moment
of truth in which shadows come out of the light so new patterns of relationship can
emerge. It is a time for hidden motives to be revealed. Emotions are on the rise as
October draws to a close with Mercury and Mars in tumultuous Scorpio, creating a
Grand Water Trine with Jupiter and Saturn on October 24. The Grand Water Trine is
one of the most supportive configurations of the year from October 24 – October 31.
Emotions flow with power, safety and ease. Wherever we have been blocked, we flow.
I have always imagined a Grand Water Trine as always keeping us afloat.
As hope and new possibilities emerge we can feel ease, blessings and being safe in the currents
of life.
OCTOBER 22: SUN ENTERS SCORPIO AND NEPTUNE RE-ENTERS PISCES
Neptune drifts back to his home in Pisces, after several months testing the energy of fire
as it flows from fiery Aries. This is the last time of reflection as we heal old illusions,
reclaim dreams and surrender to what we cannot control. A supportive triangle from
Jupiter in Cancer offers expansion and hope, inspiration, compassion and renewal. The
Scorpio season begins as the Sun arrives in Scorpio on October 22, as we deep into
our dreams and goals as we become our authentic selves It is time to rally our courage
and feel all of our feelings, even if they are troublesome. Since we are in a period of
transformation we can heal with greater zeal and success. The Sun in Scorpio is
square Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio which allows us to be more aware of our truths and
create a new path without a place for victimization.
As you may see, life is moving in a better flow, and it is time to work on your inner self.
Take care of your inner self, accepting your vulnerability, doubts and dreams. Never
have our bearings needed so much repair. We are all in new territory that we have
never seen and lived through before. Since I was aware of what the planets brought
last year and throughout 2025, I began a 365-day fear not experience, since one of my
favorite ministers told me that there were 365 days in the Bible that said FEAR NOT.
Today, October 2, I am on day 301 on which I was given the message: I open my
heart in a spirit of compassion. With that in mind, I have openings this week and next
Monday-Saturday 10-5. I am available in person or virtually so email, text or call me to
schedule your appointment. I finally got my You Tube Channel: Nan Hall Linke
