On February 1, a Full Moon in Leo brings our joy and a big heart to start the month. A group of planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Aquarius) are opposite the Moon creating a powerhouse of self-expression, as well as a chance to shine and enjoy the company of others. Thereafter, on February 3, the planet Uranus begins his journey out of Taurus into Gemini (4/25/26), releasing pent up energy and propelling us forward. Uranus is the planet of surprise, the future, and the ability to be the cosmic agent of unpredictable change. Uranus is an air planet, and rules Aquarius. When Uranus returns to Gemini on April 25, he will remain in Gemini for 7 years. It has been 84 years since Uranus has been occupied by Gemini, so remain flexible and open to unexpected change. On February 6, Mercury enters Pisces shifting from Aquarian analysis, to move into the waters of intuition and dreams. This is the time to listen to your inner self. Mercury will remain in Pisces from 2/6/26 – 4/15/26, going retrograde from 2/26 – 3/20. It is a time for us to slow down and enter the deep and trust what arises. Mercury in Pisces is a marker for telepathy, empathy and compassion.
On February 10, Venus enters Pisces, where she is at home, opening pathways for deep reconciliation, romantic experiences and wonderful connections with others. It is an ideal time to heal relational wounds and open our hearts fully, as we feel the need to forgive.
On February 13 the planet Saturn returns to zero point in Aries for the first time in 30 years. Saturn is the planet of physical reality, and it is moving to join Neptune, the planet of dreams for the first time in 35-36 years. For the first time in thousands of years, the Saturn-Neptune conjunction occurs at zero degrees of Aries, the most progenerative point in the zodiac. It is time to face the uncertainty in fear and boldly embrace the potential of the unknown. Unprecedented times call for extraordinary acts of courage and ambitious goals. It is time to make serious commitments. Aries represents initiation, courage and the energy to begin; Saturn demands discipline, structure and maturity. It is time to direct our energies more consciously and take responsibility for our actions. It is time to stand firm in our convictions and channel our fire with integrity and perseverance.
On February 17 an Aquarius annular Solar Eclipse New Moon arises at the same time as the Yang Fire Horse of the Chinese New Year, a rare event that gives us the ability to become and remain focused and grounded. With Saturn in Aries, we will have opportunities for twists of fate and be more aware of our life lessons. The energy of Aries brings us new beginnings. For a solar eclipse to coincide with the beginning of the Chinese Fire Horse Year, along with Neptune and Saturn at 0 point in Aries we are experiencing a rare combination like no other period. It will be thousands of years for this pattern to recur. With Saturn and Neptune intwined and at the midpoint of Uranus and Pluto, we are receiving a call for boldness and bravery as we reset a new starting point. With the synchronicity of the Aquarius Solar Eclipse and the Fire Horse of the Chinese New Year occurring simultaneously, a powerful omen is accelerating our collective evolution. This is a moment to be courageous and set clear intentions. The eclipse vortex is now open for two weeks as we enter a period of auspicious coincidences that speed up our evolution.
On February 18 the Sun enters Pisces, shifting our focus from collective ideals to inner reflection, compassion and spiritual attunement. There is a brief window before the Saturn-Neptune conjunction offers a moment to soften and surrender in preparation for the new energies that will soon emerge. On February 20 Saturn and Neptune are conjoined at zero point in Aries. This is the most significant combination of 2026, and the beginning of a new 36-year cycle. Saturn, the planet that represents form, structure and discipline meets Neptune, the ruler of dreams, dissolution and transcendence at the first degree of the zodiac. This is where we take a leap of faith, hold ideals and the will to manifest a new life and move forward as old paradigms collapse.
On February 22 Venus in Pisces makes a harmonious triangle with Jupiter in Cancer, bringing a welcome wave of warmth, generosity and loving connections with others. It is time for grace, optimism and a desire for beauty, love and connection.
On February 26 Mercury begins his retrograde movement in Pisces until March 20, the Spring Equinox. It is time to be careful with your communication and revisit plans carefully. Dreams and intuition appear and don’t be surprised if old friends return. On February 27 Mars in Aquarius squares Uranus in Taurus for the final time in our lives. Be aware of your physical self and your attitude, since this combination is full of surprises, some impulsive and others breakthroughs or a flash of genius. On February 28 Mercury and Venus join together in Pisces bringing a beautiful energy instead of the intensity of the month we are leaving with its ongoing upheaval of rapid transformation.
As you can imagine as you read the picture of the planetary patterns for February, it is hard to miss that this is a period of opportunity and a new start in our lives. None of us can afford to let the energies of this month go by without making time to go with in and go deep. I strongly urge you to find time to update your astrological chart so you can make the most of the opportunities that will never return in our lives.

It is time for inner work during the period we are going through this month and thereafter.
