JUNE 2026 ASTROLOGICAL OUTLOOK

Greetings:

As the skies encourage us to slow down and we are beginning to emerge from the fog and uproar at the beginning of 2026.  With planets Saturn and Neptune, having moved into fire sign Aries for the past 3 months, Jupiter is launching a 13 month tour of vibrant, dramatic life force Leo (6/30/26-7/26/27), and following a Blue Moon as June arrived, our rhythm is shifting.  June is one of the most important months of 2026.  Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, will leave the seas of Cancer to venture into the fiery skies of Leo (6/30/26-7/26/27).  We will have a period for finding true love, creativity and passion.  It is time to “Sharpen your mind. Soften your heart”. -Beau Taplin.  As June shows us the future finally beginning to take shape, we enter a new reality.  As we complete the first 3 months of Neptune and Saturn occupying fiery Aries, the pattern of a spiritual warrior emerges as we reshape ourselves and our relationships.  It is time to release our boldness.  Transformation occurs in patterns of 3.  The first half of June has warmth, and a feeling of tenderness and emotional riches.  Mercury’s entry into Cancer on June 1 began a new path and will remain there until August 9.  Mercury begins a period of retrograde motion from June 29-July 23, so don’t forget not to purchase electronics unless you need to, and check and recheck your plans, and be careful with communication. Mercury in Cancer softens our thinking and draws us toward home, memory and belonging.

ASTROLOGICAL PATTERNS IN JUNE 2026

June 1 -August 9,2026: When Mercury enters Cancer it often softens the way we think and speak.  Thoughts and feelings become harder to separate, and communication may take on an emotional undertone.  This is a good time to become aware of what genuinely matters to us.  It is wise to contact those who understand us and write in a journal.  It may be time to discover what you have been thinking but not yet saying.

June 3: MERCURY SQUARES NEPTUNE IN ARIES

Our minds find imagination running high as precision takes a back seat.  It is a good day to meditate, enjoy creative work and ask yourself, is there something I need to hear?  Intuition and passion bring new ideas and sudden awareness.  Slow down and pay attention to your feelings and desires.

June 9: VENUS AND JUPITER MEET IN CANCER

On June 9, one of the most genuinely auspicious alignments in 2026 brings us desire for nourishment.  It is a day to spend time with those you love and feel supported by.  It is time to prioritize beauty, family and connection to what is meaningful for you and others.  It is time to give and receive a once in a 12-year opportunity for joy and hope!

June 10: MERCURY SQUARES SATURN AND THE MOON IN ARIES

When Mercury and Saturn square off, life gets very realistic and brings us awareness of what is missing in our lives. It is time for a reality check so we can move forward.  As we become more grounded, it is time to be clear about what and who can support you in the way you desire.  With the Moon in Aries, clarity and the energy to go forward may surprise you, as well as others.

June 13: VENUS ENTERS LEO (6/13-7/9/26)

Venus dances into Leo, inviting us to step into the spotlight and express yourself creatively.  Social gatherings, looking beautiful, feeling abundant, dressing well are all Venus in Leo desires.  Looking beautiful is a healing action for Venus in Leo.  Gifts are part of the activities that someone enjoying Venus in Leo expects.  Since it feels good to have an audience, feel your warm-hearted generosity to share with others.   There are no limits with those you love and enjoy.

June 14: NEW MOON IN GEMINI

The fickle Gemini New Moon allows us to remain flexible and friendly.  Because the New Moon is close to Uranus, we can feel freely the need for exploration and experimentation.  Curiosity prevails as surprises emerge, requiring a daily grounding since we may start new projects and change our ever-changing minds.

June 16-17: VENUS SEXTILE URANUS, TRINE NEPTUNE, OPPOSITE PLUTO

From June 16-17, Venus makes contact with all three outer planets in quick succession.  The sextile to Uranus may spark something unexpected and exciting.  The trine to Neptune creates longing and lost love.  The opposition to Pluto with Venus in Leo brings intensity, magnetic pull and the shadows of deep desire and emotional depth.  Stay centered and open and allow the deep transformation to take effect.

June 21: SUN ENTERS CANCER/SUMMER SOLSTICE IN NORTH AMERICA, THE LONGEST DAY OF THE YEAR

The Cancer Solstice brings a potent threshold, a nature moment to honor the abundance of the earth and richness of our lives.  As the next 6 months will change the light as the Winter Solstice begins. On December 21, the Winter Solstice brings us the return of the Sun.  For years people have celebrated the Summer and Winter Solstices.  It is a time for rituals and celebration as we gravitate to groups of kindred spirits and we find comfort with others.  Since the Sun and Jupiter share the energy of Cancer it is time to enjoy our domestic duties since the Sun will leave Cancer on July 22,2026 after Jupiter enters Leo on June 30 for one year.  Jupiter in Cancer will return in 12 years.

June 25: VENUS TRINE SATURN/ SUN SQUARE NEPTUNE

Venus, now in fiery Leo, trines Saturn in Aries, lending commitment and steadiness, as well as determination to our success.  The energy of this combination is part of the Warrior energy.  On June 26 the Sun in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries.  Both the Sun and Neptune are in Cardinal signs, which demand action.  With the Sun in water sign Cancer, the love of music, water and solitude will be restorative.  It is time to take care of the needs of our bodies, rest, stillness and introspection.

June 28: MARS ENTERS GEMINI

Mars bursts into inquisitive Gemini on June 28 ensuring our ultimate engagement with the outside world.  On June 29 we will have a Full Moon in Capricorn, and it is time to reduce your fears and uncertainties.  Capricorn is ruled by Saturn and is always thinking and ruminating and planning for success.  Obstacles occur for all of us from time to time, but the energy of Capricorn allows us to achieve our aspirations despite the obstacles we encounter.  The Capricorn archetype doesn’t know how to quit.

June 30: JUPITER ENTERS LEO

Generous Jupiter moves into Leo on June 30, beginning a year-long cycle that will last until July 26, 2027.  After a year in the emotional depths of Cancer, Jupiter now invites us to lead from our heart.  It is time for courage, warmth and genuine creative authority as well as the power of knowing who we are, and that is enough to lead us to successful goals.  It is also time to spread joy for the benefit for everyone.
